TV not working? Yagoona's TV repair experts for 40+ years.
TV repairs, digital antenna installation and wall mounting across Bankstown and south-west Sydney, from our own workshop on the Hume Highway — often same-day. Free quotes and honest advice: if it's not worth fixing, we'll tell you straight.
Old-school service. Modern TVs.
We're a local, independent repair shop — not a franchise. From flat-screen faults to bad reception, one call sorts it out.
TV Repairs
Samsung, LG, Sony, Hisense, TCL and all major brands. No power, no picture, lines on screen — most faults are fixable for far less than a new TV.
Repair details →Antennas & Reception
Pixelated picture, dropouts or missing channels? Digital antennas supplied and installed, boosters, extra TV points and full signal testing.
Antenna services →Wall Mounting & Setup
Secure TV wall mounting on brick or plasterboard, plus tuning, smart TV setup and home theatre installation — done properly, first time.
Mounting & setup →Workshop Repairs
Bring it in to us. Our Yagoona workshop also services DVD players, audio equipment, microwaves and other household electronics.

- Won't turn on Dead set or a blinking standby light — usually a power supply fault we repair at board level.
- Sound but no picture You can hear the show but the screen stays dark — a classic backlight failure, and very fixable.
- Lines or half a picture Vertical bands, ghosting or a split screen point to board or panel-connection faults.
- Pixelated or "no signal" Often not the TV at all — it's the antenna or cabling. We test the signal and fix the real cause.
A real local shop, not a call centre
Yagoona TV Service has operated from the same stretch of the Hume Highway for over four decades. When you call, you speak to the technician — not a booking line — and you can walk into our workshop any time we're open.
- Independent and local — a Yagoona shopfront you can visit, with a real address and real opening hours.
- Honest advice first — we quote for free and tell you plainly when a repair isn't worth it.
- In-home or in-workshop — we come to you for service calls, or you can drop equipment in to us.
- Insurance reports — storm or power-surge damage? We handle assessment reports for all insurance work.
- Repair over landfill — fixing a board costs a fraction of a new TV and keeps working sets out of e-waste.
Our cracked-screen policy: the honest one
A cracked or smashed panel usually costs nearly as much as a new TV to replace — so most of the time, it isn't worth repairing. We'll tell you that up front, for free, instead of charging you to find out. If it's an insurance claim, we can supply the assessment report you need.
Free quotes, flat-rate service calls
Call and describe the fault — brand, size and what it's doing — and we'll give you an honest idea of cost before anything is booked. Service calls are charged at a flat labour-inclusive rate; parts are quoted separately before we fit them.

Common questions
Do you come to my home, or do I bring the TV to you?
Both. We do in-home service calls across Bankstown and south-west Sydney — most wall-mounted and larger TVs are best repaired where they are. You can also bring your TV or other equipment into our Yagoona workshop on the Hume Highway during opening hours.
How much does a TV repair cost?
Quotes are free — call us, describe the fault and the TV's brand and size, and we'll give you an honest idea of the likely cost before any work starts. Service calls are charged at a flat labour-inclusive rate, with parts charged separately.
My screen is cracked — can it be fixed?
Usually a cracked or physically damaged panel costs almost as much as a new TV to replace, so it's rarely worth repairing. We'll tell you straight rather than take your money — and if it's an insurance matter, we can provide an assessment report.
How quickly can you come out?
Same-day service is often available for local suburbs — call early in the day and we'll do our best to get to you the same day. Otherwise we'll book the next available time that suits you.
Do you repair older equipment like DVD players and Hi-Fi?
Yes. Alongside modern LCD, LED and smart TVs, our workshop still repairs DVD players, audio equipment, microwaves and other household electronics. Call us and ask — if we can't fix it economically, we'll say so.
